TURLOCK, Calif.----  Stan State head men's basketball coach Paul Trevor has announced the signing of Fabian Reichstadt to a National Letter of Intent.  Reichstadt comes to Stan State from Gavilan Community College where he was a two-time All-Conference performer. 

 "We are really excited to have Fabi join our Basketball program," said Coach Trevor.  "He is an extremely skilled basketball player that can score the ball inside and out.  He has an excellent understanding of the game and the ability to make his teammates better through his ability to pass the ball." 
 
The 6'8 post player was a First Team All-Conference honoree this past season.  He averaged 16.7 points and 8.4 rebounds per game for Gavilan.  During his freshman season, Reichstadt was named to the All-Conference Team and to the President's List. 

"Off the court, Fabi is an outstanding in classroom and will be a great representative of our program," added Trevor. 

The Aachen, Germany, native was the Unanimous League Most Valuable Player during his junior year at Del Mar High School.  During his senior season in high school, he was a member of the Capital Christian High School boys' basketball team.

Stan State is affiliated with the NCAA Division II and a member of the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA).
