INDIANAPOLIS — The Stanislaus State women's soccer team is ranked No. 7 in the latest NCAA Division II West Region rankings, released Wednesday by the NCAA. The Warriors (11-4-4 overall) continue to gain regional and national recognition heading into the postseason, receiving votes in the national Top 25 released Tuesday.

Stanislaus State is riding a five-match winning streak and has gone 6-1 over its last seven matches, outscoring opponents 17-7 in that span. The Warriors advanced to the CCAA Tournament semifinals after a 3-2 first-round victory over Cal State East Bay, with goals from
Shauna Johnston,
Jocelin Roa, and
Kellyann Rodriguez.
Olivia Maragos leads Stan State with seven goals and one assist, ranking tied for second in the CCAA in goals.
Aliah Avila paces the league with seven assists, tied for fourth in game-winners (4) and fifth in points (15), while Rodriguez ranks second in assists (5) and
Haylee Sousa fourth (4). In goal,
Zara Mujica (10-4-4, 0.93 GAA, .795 save %) anchors a veteran back line that has produced eight shutouts and allowed only 18 goals in 19 matches.
The Warriors will face No. 2 seed Chico State in Friday's CCAA Tournament semifinals at Cardinale Stadium in Seaside, with kickoff set for 4:30 p.m. The championship game is scheduled for Sunday at 3 p.m., with the winner of Stanislaus State–Chico State taking on the winner of Cal Poly Humboldt–Cal Poly Pomona for the conference title.
The top seven teams in the West Region will receive bids to the 2025 NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championship. Automatic berths are awarded to the champions of the CCAA, GNAC, and PacWest Tournaments, with the remaining spots filled by at-large selections based on regional rankings.
