SEASIDE, Calif.--- Five members of the No. 3 Stanislaus State men's soccer team earned spots on the 2025 CCAA All-Tournament Team after leading the Warriors to the program's first CCAA Championship title since 2012 this afternoon.

Senior defender Ian Reis was named the tournament's Defensive MVP, while senior defender Sammy Villanueva earned Offensive MVP honors. They were joined on the All-Tournament Team by Alexis Cervantes, Emmanuel Duran, and Angel Ruiz-Hernandez.

The Warriors posted back-to-back shutout victories in the tournament, defeating Cal State East Bay 2–0 in the semifinals and Cal State San Marcos 3–0 in the championship match.

In the semifinal, Emmanuel Duran opened the scoring off an assist from Adrian Yepez before Alexis Cervantes doubled the lead with a goal assisted by Jose Tizoc. In the title match, Michael Daley and Villanueva connected for the opening goal, Villanueva later added one of his own off a Cervantes assist, and Sebastian Carbajal capped the 3–0 victory with a late strike assisted by Daley.

Reis anchored a Stan State defense that did not allow a goal in either contest, while Ruiz-Hernandez recorded 10 total saves to secure consecutive clean sheets in goal.

Earlier this week, Reis, Duran, and Ruiz-Hernandez were each named to the 2025 All-CCAA First Team, with Ruiz-Hernandez also earning CCAA Goalkeeper of the Year honors after posting a 0.50 goals-against average and a program-record 10.5 shutouts this season. His 16 career shutouts now rank second all-time at Stanislaus State, while his 22 career wins place him third in program history behind Clint Long (26) and Jose "Mando" Herrera (24).

Villanueva's 11 assists in 2025 also set a new Stanislaus State single-season record. His 15 career assists rank tied for second all-time in program history.

Other student-athletes named to the 2025 CCAA All-Tournament Team included Cisco Avila, Tony Flores, Efren Nunez Dominguez, and Brando Oros of Cal State San Marcos; Alejandro Zarate of Cal State East Bay; and Lucas Galarza of Cal State Dominguez Hills.

Stanislaus State finished the season with a 16–1–1 overall record, capturing its first CCAA Tournament championship in 13 years.

By winning the CCAA Tournament, the No. 3 Warriors receive the conference's automatic berth to the 2025 NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Championship. The NCAA Selection Show will air on Monday, Nov. 17, at 4 p.m. PT (6:30 p.m. ET) on NCAA.com, where Stan State—ranked No. 1 in the Super Region 4 rankings—will learn its seed and opening-round matchup.
