TURLOCK, Calif.--- Stan State plays two games this week in one PacWest match up and an exhibition match. On Saturday, March 29
th, the Warriors will travel to Atherton, Calif. to face Menlo College at 1:00 p.m. The following day, Sunday, March 30
th, American River College will travel to Turlock for an exhibition match with the Warriors at 12:00 p.m.
LAST WEEK: This past week, Stan State traveled to Reno, Nevada to take on the NCAA Division I Wolf Pack. University of Nevada took down Stan State 7-0, though the Warriors put up a fight.
Annabelle Mulick and
Emma Yu were 2-6 in their doubles match, while
Abbigail Mulick forced her opponent to a 4-6, 2-6 singles score.
STAN STATE WARRIORS: Stan State is 9-5 overall and 9-2 in conference, with two of their losses coming from Division I opponents.
Emma Yu and
Annabelle Mulick have an 8-6 doubles record, while
Parker Orlando and
Abbigail Mulick hold a 7-4 record. Orlando continues to maintain a 10-3 in singles, followed by
Annabelle Mulick at 7-4 overall and
Abbigail Mulick holds an 8-6 record.
OAKS: Menlo College is 4-7 overall and will face Cal State Los Angeles before hosting the Stan State. The Warriors hosted Menlo this spring season, taking down the Oaks 5-2 by winning the doubles point and four singles matches. The Oaks' strongest performances have been a 4-0 win over Jessup University and a 7-0 sweep of Chaminade.
BEAVERS: American River College competes in the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) where they were 14-0 this season. The Beavers' closest match was a 7-2 win over Chabot College. They look to become repeat champions in the CCCAA this season.
UP NEXT: The Warriors journey to Rocklin, Calif. to face Jessup University. Stan State faced Jessup on February 28
th of this year, sweeping the match 7-0.
