TURLOCK, Calif. — The Stan State women's volleyball program announced the addition of Ireland Avalos, Zoe Ruskofsky, and Paige Taylor, who will join the Warriors for the spring period.

The three signees bring a combination of collegiate experience, high-level production, and local ties as Stan State continues to strengthen its roster heading into the future.

"We have had great success bringing strong transfers in that make an impact for us on the court and I believe this class with be no different," said head coach Lauren Flowers.  "Each of our incoming players has playing experience that will elevate the level of competitiveness in our gym as we protect the STANdard we've established in the CCAA."

A graduate of Perry High School, Avalos was a team captain and helped lead the Pumas to a 6A state runner-up finish in 2023. She earned multiple all-region and all-academic honors while competing for Arizona Storm Elite, where she served as a team captain and helped capture multiple regional championships. Avalos brings strong game management, leadership, and a winning background to the setter position.

Zoe Ruskofsky (Outside Hitter | Clovis, Calif.) arrives at Stan State after stops at Coalinga College and East Texas A&M, bringing proven offensive firepower. A two-time Central Valley Conference First Team All-Conference selection, Ruskofsky led her conference in kills, kills per set, and points per set during the 2023 season. She finished the 2024 season ranked among the top players in California in kills and points, while also setting junior college records for career kills and total points. Ruskofsky adds size, experience, and high-volume attacking ability on the pin.

Paige Taylor (Setter/Defensive Specialist | Oakdale, Calif.) provides versatility and local familiarity as a product of Oakdale High School and San Joaquin Delta College. Taylor earned multiple all-league honors at the prep level before excelling at Delta College, where she was named to the All-State Team and ranked No. 1 in the state in assists per set. She helped guide Delta to top-10 and top-five state finishes during her junior college career and brings a strong defensive mindset and playmaking ability to the Warriors' backcourt and setting unit.

Together, Avalos, Ruskofsky, and Taylor form a well-rounded signing class that adds depth, experience, and competitive edge to the Stan State volleyball program.
