SEATTLE, Wash. — Stan State women's indoor track & field opened competition Friday at the UW Invite inside the Dempsey Indoor Center, highlighted by school records, all-time marks, and NCAA provisional qualifying performances across multiple events.

"We had a good day today with some personal best, 5 all-time improvements, and school records by Alexis Nino and Mila Real, both being NCAA marks," said head coach of Stan State women's indoor/men's and women's outdoor track & field Troy Johnson. "Real broke a 22-year record in the indoor 400 meters and has more to show. Tomorrow our distance crew attack the mile, so we're looking forward to more stellar performances from this young crew."

On the track, Mila Real delivered one of the day's top performances, breaking the Stan State school record in the 400 meters with a time of 55.88. The mark provisionally qualified her for the NCAA Division II Indoor Championships and eclipsed a program record that had stood for more than two decades. Real also competed in the 60-meter hurdles, where she clocked a 9.26, ranking second all-time in Stan State history. Ahlia Albergottie added performances in both sprint events, running a 27.24 in the 200 meters and a 9.63 in the 60-meter hurdles.

Stan State showed depth in the 800-meter run, led by Annie Wild, who posted a time of 2:14.03. Izzy Soto followed closely with a 2:14.48, which stands as the ninth-fastest mark in program history. Crystal Hernandez finished with a 2:16.33, Megan Silva recorded a 2:19.74, and Roseli Diaz crossed in with a 2:25.84 as the Warriors placed multiple athletes in the event.

In the field events, Alexis Nino continued to rewrite the Stan State record book, breaking her own school record in the shot put with a mark of 46-7¼ inches (14.20m). The throw requalified Nino for the NCAA Indoor Championships and currently ranks 17th in the nation. Nino also improved her mark in the 20 lb weight throw, recording a toss of 55-10½ inches (17.03m), which stands as fourth all-time in Stan State history.

Reyna Dismukes delivered another historic performance in the triple jump, posting a leap of 36-2¼ inches (11.04m), the second-best mark in program history. Dismukes also competed in the long jump, recording a mark of 16-11¼ inches (5.16m).

Stan State was also represented in the distance events, led by Stevie Holguin, who recorded a time of 17:03.40 in the 5000 meters. The performance ranks sixth all-time in Stan State history, adding another all-time mark for the Warriors on the opening day.
