TURLOCK, Calif. — This Saturday, April 25, Stanislaus State student-athletes and coaches once again dedicated their morning to serving the local community at the annual Love Turlock event, at Donelly Park, continuing a growing tradition of Warrior involvement.
Love Turlock is held annually on the last Saturday in April and brings the Turlock community together for a day centered on service, connection, and giving back.
Warriors from multiple programs, including men's and women's soccer, men's and women's basketball, tennis,, volleyball, and track and field, contributed to a variety of projects throughout the city. Student-athletes assisted with painting curbs, cleaning park play structures, trimming trees, pulling weeds, and performing general maintenance to help improve Donnelly Park. In addition to their hands-on work, student-athletes also spent time engaging with community members, further strengthening the bond between Stan State Athletics and the Turlock community.
This marks the fourth year of continued involvement for Stan State Athletics in the event, reinforcing the department's commitment to service beyond competition.
