POMONA -- The Warriors scattered 16 hits to score 13 runs in one game, used timely hitting in the second game, then got more outstanding pitching performances in both games to sweep Cal Poly Pomona on Saturday.

In the nightcap, Casey Filkins' two-out double in the third and Douglas Porras' solo homer in the fifth lifted the Warriors to a 4-2 win.

With the sweep the Warriors take the series by winning the first three games to improve to 22-22 overall and 18-17 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association.
