Warrior Quartet Earns CSC Academic All-District® Recognition

TURLOCK, Calif. - Stan State baseball student-athletes Zach Lewis, Pierce Sailer, Mason Kelley and Tyler Crudo have been named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Team, recognizing their accomplishments both on the field and in the classroom.

The CSC Academic All-District® Team honors student-athletes who have excelled academically while competing at a high level for their respective programs. To be eligible, student-athletes must maintain at least a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average while also meeting competition requirements established by CSC for baseball.

Lewis appeared in 48 games with 47 starts for the Warriors during the 2026 season. He batted .297 with 52 hits, 35 runs scored, 12 doubles, three home runs and 21 RBI while adding three stolen bases. Lewis also recorded a team-high 14 multi-hit games, including six three-hit contests and one four-hit performance, while posting a season-best 10-game hitting streak and a 10-game reached base streak. He added five multi-RBI games during the season and was also named to the Stan State Fall Honor Roll during the 2025-26 academic year.

Crudo played in 44 games with 43 starts, hitting .309 with 47 hits, 10 doubles, 20 RBI and 24 runs scored. He also posted a .929 fielding percentage with 113 assists during the season. Crudo tallied 14 multi-hit games during the 2026 campaign, recorded four multi-RBI contests and entered the postseason with a current five-game hitting streak and an active eight-game reached base streak. He also posted a season-best 11-game reached base streak during the year. Crudo was a member of the 2025-26 Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society and earned recognition on the Stan State Fall Honor Roll.

Kelley started all 47 games he appeared in and hit .292 with 47 hits, 10 doubles, six home runs and 36 RBI. He also recorded a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage for the Warriors. Kelley matched Lewis for the team lead with 14 multi-hit games, including 12 two-hit performances, while also recording a season-best 10-game hitting streak. Kelley added nine multi-RBI games, including a five-RBI performance during the season, while posting an 11-game reached base streak. Kelley was also named to the Stan State Fall Honor Roll during the 2025-26 academic year.

Sailer was one of Stan State's top relief pitchers during the 2026 campaign, posting a 4.45 ERA with six saves in 19 appearances. He struck out 24 batters in 30.1 innings pitched while holding opponents to a .261 batting average and posting a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage. Sailer was also named to the 2026 All-CCAA Second Team, earned Warrior Spirit honors at the STANYS Awards and was inducted into the 2025-26 Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society while also being recognized on the Stan State Fall Honor Roll. In addition, Sailer's six saves this season are tied for seventh on Stan State's single-season saves list and currently rank tied for eighth in program history in career saves.

For baseball, eligible nominees must compete in at least 90 percent of the institution's games played or start in at least 66 percent of the team's contests. Pitchers must make at least 17 appearances or pitch 35 innings. Nominees also must be at least sophomores academically and athletically while maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher.
