Box Score TURLOCK — The shots just didn't fall for the Warriors as another second half let-down resulted in a Stanislaus defeat in the hands of 14th ranked Cal Poly Pomona in a CCAA game inside Fitzpatrick Arena Saturday night.

Cal State Stanislaus shot 30 percent and scored 19 points in the second half to allow the Broncos to stay unbeaten with a 63-43 score. The Warriors fell to 1-3 overall and 0-2 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association while Cal Poly Pomona moves to 6-0 and 3-0.

In the first half the Warriors looked poised to end the nine-game skid to the Broncos by playing even against the ranked team. Marcellus Pullum scored six of his points and the Warriors held Pomona to just 34.5 percent shooting for a 27-24 halftime score in favor of the visitors.

But things didn't go so well for Stanislaus in the second half as Pomona built an 11-point lead six minutes in and extended that score to 55-36 at 8:26 on a pair of Daniel Rodriguez free throws.

In the end, the Warriors were out-rebounded 43-26 and out-shot 44.4 to 32.7 percent. They were out-scored 36-19 in the second half. For the night, the Warriors were 8 for 25 from the three-point arc with Pullum hitting five of nine of his tries.

Pullum finished with his season best of 15 points and Marcus Walters chipped in 11, the same total as the other four starters combined. Walters also grabbed a team-high five rebounds.

Mitchel Anderson had 22 points and 12 rebounds and Terrence Drisdom scored 15 for Cal Poly Pomona.
