Series Notes vs. Humboldt State: The Warriors have a five-match winning streak over the Lumberjacks since 2009. During that streatch Stanislaus out-scored HSU 18-1 with five shutouts. Last season in Arcata the Warriors won 5-0. The Warriors hold a 9-5 alltime series record (7-4 in CCAA play) over the Lumberjacks.
Series Notes vs. Sonoma State: Cal State Stanislaus went 0-1-1 against Sonoma State last season. The Seawolves are now 18-4-3 against the Warriors alltime. The Warriors, however, are 0-1-2 against SSU in the last two seasons.
Going for the Upset: With Sonoma State ranked No. 2 in the latest NSCAA/Continential Tire Top 25, the Warriors are looking for their biggest win over the highest ranked team. Last year, the Warriors tied No. 2 UC San Diego at home and beat No. 7 UC San Diego, 2-1, during the CCAA tournament. Stanislaus was 2-0-1 in 2011 against ranked teams.
Back in the Poll: The Warriors are back in the Top 25 as they are ranked No. 21 in this week's poll. Cal State Stanislaus was ranked as high as 13th earlier this season (Sept. 4). The Warriors are also ranked No. 3 in this week's West Region rankings (Sonoma State is No. 1, followed by UC San Diego).

Brown earned two more shutouts, closes in on 200 saves: Goalkeeper 
Millie Brown picked up two more shutouts and now has 21 in her career. With three saves on Sunday, Brown now has 198 saves (third on the CSUS alltime list).
Offensive Depth: With 
Alexia Poon sidelined and 
Karenee Demery doubled- and tripled-teams, the Warriors are finding other ways to score. 
Katelyn Nebesnick, who started on Sunday in place of Poon, and 
Allie Dugan each scored twice in Sunday's win over Cal State Monterey Bay...giving the Warriors even more options up front.
About Humboldt State (0-2-0, 0-2-0 CCAA): The Lumberjacks began their season last Friday after being suspended for three games due to hazing incidents. HSU lost both matches at home, a 2-0 setback to Cal Poly Pomona and a 3-2 loss to San Francisco State.
About Sonoma State (6-0-0, 4-0-0 CCAA): The No. 2 ranked Seawolves have outsocred opponents 20-3. They are coming off a 5-0 win over Cal Poly Pomona on Sunday after blanking San Francisco State 2-0 on Friday. Cara Curtain, the CCAA player of the week, has scored seven goals with three assists.
