Box Score LOS ANGELES — An 11-0 run by Cal State L.A. in the middle of the second half turned the tide on Cal State Stanislaus as the Warriors dropped another close game this weekend, this time a 64-58 decision.

Nick Hodge led the Warriors with 16 points as one of three Warriors to scored in double figures but that wasn't quite enough. Cal State Stanislaus dropped its second straight road game and fell to 6-8 overall and 3-7 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association.

The Warriors gained the momentum in the second half in a closely contested game. Stanislaus finally took a four-point lead, 46-42, at 9:44 on a Clinton Tremelling three-pointer. However the Warriors wouldn't score again for three-plus minutes.

By the time Sam Marcus made a free throw for the team's 47th point at 6:28, Cal State L.A. had used an 11-0 run to take a seven-point lead.

The Golden Eagles (9-5, 6-4 CCAA) would take an eight-point lead on a James Tillman bucket for their largest cushon.

Still, the Warriors rallied late and got as close as two-points, at 60-58, on a three-pointer by Ray Mitchell with 11 seconds left. However, Cal State L.A. made its free throws -- and created two Stanislaus turnovers -- in the final seconds for the final score.

Marcus Walters chipped in 11 points and Mitchell finished with 10 points. The Warriors, however, were out-rebounded 40-20. Cal State L.A. also converted on 18 of 24 free throw tries while the Warriors managed to get to the line for eight free throw attempts (and made two).

Tillman ended up with 19 points to lead the Golden Eagles.
