Box Score SAN BERNARDINO — For the third time this season — and the second consecutive match — the 21st ranked Cal State Stanislaus women's soccer team suffered a 1-0 defeat on the road. This time, it was at Cal State San Bernardino, Friday afternoon.

Coyotes' Jasmine Williams broke the scoreless tie in the 84th minute as host Cal State San Bernardino blanked the Warriors in a mild-upset.

The Warriors lost two straight matches for the first time since the end of the 2012 season, and the first back-to-back regular season loss since 2011, to fall to 11-3-0 overall and 4-3-0 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association.

All three of the Warriors' losses this year have came on the road with the same 1-0 final score. Last Sunday, Cal Poly Pomona edged Stanislaus, 1-0, in Pomona and Cal State Monterey Bay handed the Warriors their first set-back on Sept. 28 in Seaside.

"San Bernardino is a very good team that's well coached. Our effort offensively just wasn't at the level required to win on the road," CSUS head coach Gabriel Bolton said.

Cal State San Bernardino, which ended the Warriors' 2013 season in the second round match of the NCAA Championships, improved to 11-3-0 and 4-3-0 CCAA.

The Warriors were out-shot 13-4 on Friday in a defensive match. Stanislaus was credited with one shot-on-goal, by Katelyn Nebesnick, which came in the 35th minute on a header. Mikayla Clifford had a shot in the 28th minute that was blocked by CSUSB defenders.

Goalkeeper Chelsea Lewandowski kept the match scoress with five saves until 83:12. Kiana Quarles found Williams on the scoring play as Williams went 1-v-1 against Lewandowski for the goal.

San Bernardino, ranked No. 25 last week, before splitting with Sonoma State and Humboldt State, had six shots on goal. Emily Whyte earns her seventh shutout this season.

"We are looking forward to returning home and returning to our attacking form. I'm confident the team will respond well to this adversity," Bolton added.

The Warriors return home to Warrior Stadium, where they are 6-0 this year, to host Chico State at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday.
