RENO, Nev. — The Warriors captured wins at No. 1 and No. 2 singles but No. 25 ranked Sonoma State won the team match, 7-2, on neutral site in Reno.
J'Ana Diamond improved to 3-3 in singles play this season with a three-set, 6-3, 0-6, 6-4 win over Leire Martinez at the No. 1 spot.
Jessica Laurie also won her match in super tiebreaker third set, 10-6 after she split the first two sets 6-4, 2-6, with Kaitlyn Haithcock.
The Warriors are off from competition for the next 10 days before three straight matches at home, beginning on March 24 against Cal State L.A.. They will also host Hawaii Hilo the next day and Academy of Art on March 28.
