Series Notes: Stanislaus had its 10-match winning streak over Humboldt State snapped last Oct. 25, 2015, in a 1-0 decision in Arcata. The Warriors are now 14-6 against the Lumberjacks and are 12-5 in CCAA play (8-2 at home) … Sonoma State holds the series advantage 8-16-5 all-time. After last year's 0-0 draw in Rohnert Park on Oct. 23, the Warriors are now 4-0-3 against Sonoma State in the last seven meetings since Oct. 28, 2011. Stan State is 5-8-1 in Turlock against SSU.

A Stan State Soccer Rarity: Perhaps it's a show of how dominate the programs have been in recent years, the Stanislaus men's and women's soccer teams combined to go 0-4 for just the first time since 2009. The teams went 0-4 on the same exact road trip, at Cal State Dominguez Hills (Friday) and Cal State L.A. (Sunday) on Sept. 25 & Sept. 27, 2009. The women's team went 0-2 on the same weekend for the first time since that same weekend in 2009.

Snapping Losing Streak: The Warriors have not lost more than two consecutive CCAA games since 2009 when they lost four straight (three of those games were on the road). That team had gone on a 1-6 stretch before finishing 6-9-1 in CCAA play (10-9-1 overall), the last time the Warriors did not post a winning record in conference play.

Flipping the Momentum: The Warrior defense had shut-out its opponents for 399 minutes prior to the start of CCAA play, but over the opening weekend of conference action, it was the Warriors getting blanked twice and outscored 3-0.

Against A Ranked Sonoma State Team: Sonoma State was ranked No. 8 last season when the Warriors played the Seawolves to a 0-0 score in Rohnert Park. SSU was ranked in the top 20 in each of the last six times these teams played each other with the Warriors posting a 4-0-2 record over SSU.

Oh That Thriller: It was an epic battle and instant classic of a match the last time the Warriors and the Seawolves met at Warrior Stadium — on Oct. 5, 2014. The Warriors scored three second half goals to erase a 2-0 deficit only to see a last minute score by SSU to force overtime. Just before the end of the second OT, Sabrina Williamson scored the golden-game winner for the victory. Jade Poon, a freshman at the time, scored twice in the second half and assisted on the winner.

Series Dominance: During the 10-match winning streak over Humboldt State, from Oct. 23, 2009 to Oct. 3, 2014 outscored the Lumberjacks 27-3 with seven shutouts. Six of those wins happened at home at Warrior Stadium.

About Humboldt State (2-5-0, 1-1-0 CCAA): The Lumberjacks defeated Cal State San Bernardino 3-2 and lost to Cal Poly Pomona 2-1 last weekend in Arcata. Those accounted for four of the five goals scored by HSU this season … Alex Jenkins and Bridget Daley each scored two goals. Both Jenkins goals came against CSUSB on Friday.

About Sonoma State (4-1-1, 2-0-0 CCAA): The 21st ranked Seawolves won both matches last weekend 2-0 over Cal Poly Pomona and Cal State San Bernardino … SSU has only allowed two scored this season and has not allowed a goal in 214 minutes … Katie Mohr and Taylor Enzler each has two goals to lead the Seawolves … Allison Hadidian has a 0.57 GAA with a .846 saves percentage.
