This week the Warriors will play Chico State twice in a matter of three days. Chico will come to Stan State on Thursday for the Warriors final regular season home game. On Thursday the Warriors will also celebrate their five seniors in an honorary pregame presentation ... On Saturday, the Warriors will then travel to Chico State to play their second competition against their CCAA travel partner.

Series Notes: So far this season these travel partners have not come up against each other. Stan State will play Chico State twice in a matter of three days, once at home and once at Chico ... Last season the Warriors faced Chico State only once, unfortunately taking home the loss ... Overall, the Warriors are 8-25 against their Northern Division foe.
Last Time We Met... was on Jan. 30, 2016 at Chico State, where the Warriors lost to the Wildcats 52-62.
Riley Holladay was the team's leading rebounder with nine rebounds.
About the Wildcats: The Wildcats' offense is being led by Whitney Branham who averages 15 points per game. Branham shoots 40.7 percent from the field, 36.4 percent from the three-point arc, and 90.6 percent from behind the free throw line. Currently she is sixth in the CCAA in scoring, and first in the conference in free throw percentage ... The Wildcats next highest scoring player is Jo Pain with 12 points per game. Paine is also the leading rebounder for Chico State with an average of 6.3 rebounds per game. She is followed by McKena Barker with an average of 5.7 rebounds per game ... As a team the Wildcats shoot 35.3 percent from the field, 28 percent from the three-point line, and 67.3 percent from behind the Free-throw line.
Sanders-Curry Is at It Again: In last week's single competition
Cassidy Sanders-Curry once again embraced her role as the Warriors team leader. Sanders-Curry surpassed her previous season high of 24 points by scoring a whopping 28 points against the Cougars. She was just two shy of matching her career high of 30 points ... She did, however, manage to surpass a career high with six steals against Cal State San Marcos ... That night she also tallied seven rebounds and three assists.
Rebounding Leader: Riley Holladay gave another outstanding rebounding performance against the Cougars last Thursday. She led both teams with 12 rebounds, matching her career high. She also maintained her place as the leading defensive rebounder in the California Collegiate Athletic Association with an average of 6.3 defensive rebounds per game. She is ninth in the CCAA for overall rebounding efforts per game with an average of 7.3.
Warrior Seniors: This season the Warriors women's basketball team will graduate out five seniors that have each been important parts of the growing program. Seniors

and Morgan Roots are Warrior athletes who came to Stan State from various parts of California and Nevada, and have stuck with the program all four years of their eligibility.
Reana Hardin, the fifth Warrior senior, joined the women's basketball program after spending her freshman season at Napa Valley Junior College. Combined, these five Warriors have totaled 3,309 points to date, and Burch, Sanders-Curry, and Holladay have each amassed over 800 points apiece. Each of the Warrior seniors will receive recognition for their dedication to the program before what could be their final game at Fitzpatrick Arena.

CCAA Playoffs – Round One: The regular season for CCAA basketball is nearing the end, and soon we will find out which eight teams will make the conference tournament. The top four teams in the CCAA will host the first round matchups on Tuesday Feb. 28. Currently the Warriors are tied for third place in the California Collegiate Athletic Association and are in line to host round one of the CCAA championships.
