Against Cal State San Bernardino on Saturday, Lizzy Alexander led the team with 20 points. This was her fourth 20-point game of the season and the 13th time she has scored double-digits. She leads the team in both 20-point games and double-figure scoring. She is also on a three-game double-digit scoring streak.  Alexander is currently fourth in the CCAA with a .360 three-point shooting percentage and 11th in the conference averaging 13.3 points per game. Not only did Alexander have an impressive scoring game, but she tagged on five rebounds, four assists, and four steals against CSUSB.

Efficiency Against the Coyotes

Stan State had 37 rebounds while CSUSB only had 35, they had 20 fouls while the Coyotes had 23, and the Warriors had 13 steals while Cal State San Bernardino had nine steals. Not only were their totals better, but so were their percentages for the most part. The Warriors shot 40.0 percent from the field while CSUSB shot 33.3 percent, they shot 42.9 percent from the three-point arc while the Coyotes shot 30 percent.

Livingston Leads Again
Britney Livingston was the leading scorer against Cal Poly Pomona last Thursday with 17 points. It was her fourth game as the Warriors leading scorer, and the sixth time she has scored double-figures. Livingston also had six rebounds, four steals, and two assists.

Homecoming Success
This Thursday night is the annual Stanislaus State homecoming basketball game hosted by the Warriors.  Over the past four seasons Stan State has won three out of four homecoming games. Some may wonder if this is due to an increased attendance, creating more hype for the game. On average over the past four years, attendance has increased by over 265 percent at the homecoming game. Last season 761 people attended the Warriors HC game against Chico State, which was a 255 percent increase from the usual attendance of around 298 people per game. Stan State beat the Wildcats 67-61. In 2015 over 1,300 fans filled Fitzpatrick Arena for the monumental event. This means the Warriors fan base almost tripled on homecoming night, arguably giving the Warrior women extra energy and motivation to earn the win.
