TURLOCK, Calif.--- After going 2-0 this weekend, Stan State is in a three-way tie for third place in the CCAA standings heading into the final three matches of the regular season. The top six teams at the end of the regular season on October 27 will receive a berth to the CCAA Championships which will begin on October 30 with the first round. Stan State will host Cal State Los Angeles this Friday, October 21 at 4:30pm and Cal Poly Pomona on Sunday, October 23 at 7pm. Friday's match will be Golden Valley Health Center Night. Prior to the start of Sunday's match, Stan State will recognize its eight seniors.
LAST TIME ON THE PITCH: The Warriors went 2-0 in their last road trip of the regular season. They started the weekend with a 3-1 win at Cal State Dominguez Hills.
Jackzeny Mancilla scored Stan State's first goal off a ball from
Marivic Lek-Miro.
Alexis Brewah scored what proved to be the game-winning goal and
Arionna Imhoff added another goal for the Warriors. Stan State finished the weekend with a 1-0 win at Cal State Monterey Bay.
Sabrina Cabrera scored the Warriors' goal.
Alexia Estrada recorded ten saves in the shutout for Stan State.
UPDATE ON THE WARRIORS: Stanislaus State is 7-3-4 overall and 4-2-2 in the CCAA, which places them in a three-way tie for third place with Cal State San Marcos and Chico State.
Alexis Brewah leads the way for the Warriors with her nine goals, six assists and 24 points.
Sabrina Cabrera is next on the team with her five goals, one assist and 11 points and a team high three game-winning goals.
Jackzeny Mancilla and
Summer England are tied for third on the team in scoring. Mancilla has three goals while England has two goals and two assists.
Alexia Estrada has posted a 1.00 goals against average with fie shutouts ad a .869 saves percentage.
AMONGST THE NCAA/CCAA LEADERS: Alexis Brewah is second in the conference in goals, assists and points. She is 24
th in the nation in points per game and 32
nd in goals scored.
Alexia Estrada is leading the CCAA in saves per game while she is second in saves percentage, tied for fifth in shutouts and sixth in goals against average. In the nation, Estrada is 18
th in total saves, 20

CCAA TOURNAMENT: The top six teams at the end of the regular season on October 28 will receive a berth to the CCAA Soccer Championships. The top two seeds will receive a first-round bye. The first round will be on October 30 at the number three and four seed's home sites. The semi-finals and finals will take place November 4 and 6 at Seawolf Soccer Field on the campus of Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park, Calif. The winner of the CCAA Soccer Championship will receive the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division II Soccer Championship.
SENIOR DAY THIS SUNDAY
Prior to the match this Sunday, October 23 versus Cal Poly Pomona, the Stan State women's soccer team will recognize their eight seniors in

Daisy Martinez. The Warriors are coming off a 2-0 weekend in which they moved into a three-way tie for third place in the conference with Cal State San Marcos and Chico State.
UPDATE ON THE GOLDEN EAGLES: Cal State Los Angeles, who is receiving votes nationally, head into this weekend with a 7-2-5 overall and 4-0-4 in the CCAA. The Golden Eagles is tied for fifth place with Sonoma State after going 2-0 last week. They defeated Sonoma State 2-1 and SF State 1-0. Liliana Gonzalez leads the way with four goals and nine points with three game-winning goals. Thaiz Hernandez, Shelby Melin and Erin Schrock each have scored two goals. Areli Reyes has a 0.48 goals against average with a .864 saves percentage and nine shutouts.
ALL-TIME SERIES: Stan State leads the all-time series 13-12-4, but the Warriors have lost the last five meetings in a row. Cal State Los Angeles defeated the Warriors 2-1 last year in Los Angeles. The last Warrior won 1-0 in 2015 in Los Angeles.
UPDATE ON THE BRONCOS: Cal Poly Pomona is 5-7-2 overall and 4-3-2 in the CCAA after going 0-2 last week. The Broncos lost 1-0 to SF State and 2-1 to Sonoma State. They are in sixth place in the CCAA. Allyssa Larkin leads the way with her two goals, two assists and six points. Jessica Llamas, Liberty Ortiz and Marisa Salazar each have scored two goals. Audrey Brown has a 0.88 goals against average, five shutouts and a .807 saves percentage.
ALL-TIME SERIES: Cal Poly Pomona leads the all-time series with the Warriors 13-9-2. Stan State is 3-1-1 in the last five meetings. The two teams played to a scoreless draw in Pomona last year. The last Stan State win was 1-0 in Pomona in 2018.
