TURLOCK, Calif.--- Stan State will be looking to clinch at least a share of the 2022 California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) regular season title this Thursday, October 27 when the Warriors host Cal State East Bay at 11:30am at Warrior Field. If the Warriors defeat or tie with the Pioneers, they will clinch at least a share of the CCAA Title with Sonoma State. The Seawolves host San Francisco State this Thursday.
RECAP OF LAST WEEKEND:  The Warriors improved to 9-3-4 overall and 6-2-2 in the CCAA after going 2-0 against Cal State Los Angeles and Cal Poly Pomona. Stan State defeated Cal State Los Angeles 2-1 on Friday evening. On Sunday afternoon, the Warriors defeated Cal Poly Pomona 3-1 on their Senior Day. In Friday's victory over the Golden Eagles, 
Jocelyn Lopez scored the Warriors' first goal while 
Alexis Brewah scored what proved to be the game-winner on a penalty kick. In their win over the Broncos on Sunday, 
Brooke Leal scored Stan State's first goal on a ball from 
Jackzeny Mancilla and Brewah. The duo of 
Sabrina Cabrera and Brewah connected for the Warriors' final two goals of the afternoon. 
Alexia Estrada recorded ten saves during the weekend for Stan State.
 
UPDATE ON THE WARRIORS:  Stan State is now in a tie for first place in the CCAA with Sonoma State with one match left in the regular season. 
Alexis Brewah leads the team with her ten goals, nine assists and 29 points. 
Sabrina Cabrera is second on the team with her seven goals, one assist and 19 points. She also has a team high four game-winning goals.

Summer England and Mancilla have each recorded one game-winning goal. 
Alexia Estrada has posted a 1.00 goals against average in goal with five shutouts and a .865 saves percentage.
 
CLINCHED AT LEAST A FOURTH SEED IN THE CCAA CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT:  With the Warriors winning four of their last five matches, they have clinched a spot in the CCAA Soccer Championships with one match left in the regular season. They can finish no worse than in fourth place. If Stan State defeats or tie with Cal State East Bay, the Warriors can clinch at least a share of the CCAA regular season title.

The CCAA Soccer Championship begins with the First Round this Sunday, October 30 at the higher seed's site. The top two seeds will receive first round bye. The semi-finals and final will be hosted by Sonoma State in Rohnert Park, Calif., on Friday, November 2 and Sunday, November 4. The winner of the CCAA Soccer Championship Tournament will receive the conference's automatic berth to the 2022 NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championships.
 
MOVIN' ON UP: Alexis Brewah is now fifth on the Warriors' all-time single season list with nine assists. She is tied for seventh with ten goals and ninth with her 29 points.
 
UPDATE ON CAL STATE EAST BAY: The Pioneers enter Thursday's match with Stan State with a 2-11-3 overall record and a 0-9-1 CCAA record. They went 0-2 this weekend with a 2-0 loss to Cal Poly Pomona and a 4-3 loss to Cal State Los Angeles. Morgan Pearson leads the way for Cal State East Bay with her five goals including one game-winning goal. Five Pioneers have recorded at least one assist this season. Jordan Smith has posted a 1.81 goals against average with a .710 saves percentage and three shutouts in goal.
 
ALL-TIME SERIES:  Stanislaus State leads the all-time series with the Pioneers 17-3-4 including going 3-1-1 in the last five meetings. The two teams tied 1-1 earlier this season in Hayward in a non-conference match.
