Gabby Rawson received this week's honors after impressive performances against Cal State East Bay and Cal State San Marcos last weekend.
Rawson finished the week with 47 digs and averaged 5.22 digs per set in two matches, both ending in victories as the regular season comes down the home stretch. She secured 16 digs, four service aces, and two assists on Thursday at Cal State East Bay, followed by a win at Cal State San Marcos where she finished with 31 digs and four assists against the Cougars. Her 31-dig performance was the second best in the CCAA this season, just one shy of her had 32 digs on Oct. 15 to help Stan State upset Cal State San Bernardino.
Rawson leads the conference with 444 digs and 4.93 digs per set. This is her second defensive player of the week award this season.
