INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.--- Stan State is eighth in this week's NCAA Division II Women's Soccer West Regional Rankings. The top six teams in the West Region will receive a bid to the 2022 NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championships on November 7.
The Warriors enter their regular season home finale with a 9-3-4 overall record and 6-2-2 California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) record. Stan State is tied for first place in the conference with Sonoma State. The Warriors will host Cal State East Bay this Thursday, October 27 at 11:30am in their regular season home finale at Warrior Stadium.
Stan State is 7-1-2 in its last ten matches including winning its last four matches in a row. The Warriors can clinch a share of the CCAA Regular Season Title if they defeat Cal State East Bay this Thursday. If Sonoma State also wins its regular season home finale versus San Francisco State on Thursday, the Seawolves will receive the number one seed and Stan State will be the number two seed in the 2022 CCAA Soccer Championships which will commence this Sunday, October 30 at the sites of the number three and four seeds. The top two seeds will receive a first-round bye.
The semi-finals and final of the CCAA Soccer Championship will take place November 4 and 6 in Rohnert Park, Calif., on the campus of Sonoma State University. The winner of the CCAA Soccer Championship will receive the conference's bid to the NCAA Division II National Championships.
The west region consists of teams from the CCAA, Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) and the PacWest Conference.
The next regional rankings will be released on November 2. The selection show for the 2022 NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championship is set for 3:30pm (PT) on November 7. For the complete list of the rankings, go to

This year's NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championship will start on November 10 with the First Round. The Second Round will be on November 12 followed by the Third Round on November 17.
The quarterfinals are set for November 19. This year's semi-final and final will be a part of the NCAA Division II Fall Festival in Seattle, Wash. The NCAA Division II National Men's and Women's Soccer Championships' semi-final and final will take place on December 1 and 3 at Interbay Stadium.
