Stan State’s Marivic Lek-Miro Named to the 2022 CCAA Women’s Soccer All-Tournament Team

ROHNERT PARK, Calif.--- Stanislaus State's freshman Marivic Lek-Miro was named to the 2022 CCAA Women's Soccer All-Tournament Team as announced after the championship match on Sunday afternoon in Rohnert Park, Calif.  Lek-Miro had one shot attempt in the Warriors' 1-0 loss to Cal State Los Angeles in the CCAA Semi-finals on Friday afternoon in Rohnert Park, Calif.

For the season, Lek-Miro played a key role in the Warriors capturing the co-championship of the CCAA Regular Season Title with Sonoma State.  For the season, the freshman played in 17 matches while starting in eight for the Warriors. She had two assists in Stan State's victories at Cal State San Marcos and Cal State Dominguez Hills. 

The Warriors, who are 10-4-4, will now wait until they receive one of the berths to the NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championship. The selection show is set for 4pm (PT) on Monday, November 7 and will be aired on www.ncaa.com.  Coming into this weekend, the Warriors were seventh in the NCAA Division II West Region. The top six teams in the West Region receive a berth to the NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championships with the CCAA Tournament, GNAC Tournament and PacWest Regular Season Champions earning the respective conference's automatic berth.

Cal State Los Angeles won the CCAA Championship Tournament by defeating Sonoma State 1-0 earlier this afternoon.
