Holy Names and SF State Up Next on the Warriors' Hit List

RECAP OF LAST WEEK: The Warriors split their matchup with Cal Poly Humboldt this past weekend, winning the first and last games of the series in a high-scoring affair on the road. The team finished with 21 total runs scored through four games and 26 innings.

UPDATE ON WARRIORS: Stan State has fought for their wins in the conference this year, going 6-17 in CCAA play and 10-21 overall. They will have a chance to improve upon their records this week against PacWest and CCAA opponents in Holy Names and San Francisco State.
 
AMONG THE CCAA LEADERS: Mikaela Ferreira has been the Warriors' leading hitter this season and is currently batting a .356 for 10th in the CCAA. She is also tied for 9th in doubles this season with nine. Just a few spots below her is Madison Flexser, who has gone for .342 at 15th in the conference. 
 
Kyndra Marzorini retains the team's best ERA (2.21), 14th in the conference this year. Victoria Alarcon holds the 19th spot with a 2.49 ERA. Marzorini and Alarcon have collected 50 and 35 strikeouts this season.
 
Outfielder Lauryn Serda is just one of two fielders this year who is still errorless through the regular season. Karli DalBianco has secured the 15th most putouts in the CCAA at the first base spot with 102.
 
UPDATE ON HOLY NAMES: The Hawks have gone 11–20 and 8–9 in the PacWest so far this season. This will be their second visit to Turlock this year, as they took on Chico State, Cal State East Bay, Western Oregon, Cal State Monterey Bay, and Cal Poly Humboldt during the Tournament of Champions to finish with a 2-3 record. They are led by freshman Isabella Scozzola, who has the team's best batting average (.369), most hits (31), and most runs (23) this season.
 
UPDATE ON SAN FRANCISCO STATE: Going 18–16 overall and 6-12 so far this season, the Gators have been on the bottom half of the CCAA. They are led by pitcher Brooklyn Heffernan, who has struck out 60 batters this season and sophomore infielder Kai Deleon, who is batting .384 in conference play.
