RECAP OF LAST WEEK: In their final home series of the season, the Warriors had some trouble securing wins down the stretch against Cal State Dominguez Hills, who has clinched the 4^th place spot in this year's CCAA Tournament. Two of their four games played against the Toros were lost by just two runs or less, as the Warriors look ahead towards their final road trip of the year in San Marcos.

UPDATE ON WARRIORS: Stan State is now 12-29 on the season with a 6-25 record in the conference. Mikaela Ferreira is ranked 2nd in the CCAA as a batter, hitting .403 through the season with two home runs, 52 hits, and 18 runs. The team's next best hitter in the top-25 is Madison Flexser, who has batted .324 on 34 hits and 10 runs this season.

Victoria Alarcon holds a 2.23 ERA, which is 14^th in the conference, while Kyndra Marzorini is 16^th at 2.34. Marzorini has pitched a total of 38 strikeouts for the year. Five Warriors are in the top-25 in fielding percentage, including Avery Fitch (0.987), Sarah Warden (0.987), Lauryn Serda (0.987), Katie Thornsberry (0.985), and Karli DalBianco (0.978). 

UPDATE ON CAL STATE SAN MARCOS: The Cougars are 24-17 overall, with a 17-11 record against CCAA opponents. They are ranked 3^rd in the conference and have also clinched a spot in next weekend's tournament as the 3^rd best batting team in the CCA. Their leading hitter, redshirt Sophomore Paige Donnelly, is batting .373 this season and 3^rd in the conference in home runs with seven. Their primary pitcher is Savannah Coyle, who has a 1.91 ERA on the season and a 12-6 pitching record.
