TURLOCK, Calif.--- Stan State women's soccer team will look to extend its four-game winning streak this week with three games (one at home and two on the road). The Warriors will host Sonoma State this Wednesday, October 30 at 6:00 p.m. at Warrior Stadium. They will be on the road for the final time this regular season this weekend, Nov. 1-3. Stan State will be in San Marcos, Calif., this Friday, Nov. 1 for a 12:30 p.m. scheduled match with Cal State San Marcos. Two days later, the Warriors will face Cal State East Bay for an 11:30 a.m., in Hayward, Calif., this Sunday, Nov. 3.
SHUTOUT STREAK CONTINUES: Stan State extended its shutout streak to four with back-to-back 2-0 victories at home over Cal State San Bernardino and then No. 4 Cal Poly Pomona. The Warriors blanked Cal State San Bernardino on Friday evening 2-0.

Kellyann Rodriguez's goal with 11 minutes left in the match off a ball from
Haylee Heffner. The Warriors finished the weekend with a 2-0 victory over previously unbeaten and No. 4 Cal Poly Pomona on Senior Day on Sunday. Avila scored their first goal on a penalty kick in the 16
th minute. Stan State sealed the win on
Katie Smith's goal off a pass from Rodriguez.
STAN STATE IN REVIEW: The Warriors are 7-5-2 overall and 4-3 in the CCAA entering its Wednesday match at home versus Sonoma State. They are averaging 1.57 goals a game while giving up 1.21.
Aliah Avila leads the way with her 15 points, six goals, and five game-winning goals. Avila is tied with
Sabrina Cabrera and Kaley Miler each with three assists.
Shauna Johnston has recorded the Warriors' two other game-winning goals. Cabrera and
Jocelin Roa each have scored three goals for the Warriors.
Natalia Ochoa has seen action in ten matches in goal and posted a 1.23 goals against average, .809 saves percentage, with 38 saves.
Tylin Norman has been in goal in five matches with a 0.80 goals against average, .857 saves percentage, and 18 saves.
Malia Allen saw action in four matches and posted a 1.69 goals against average with a .667 saves percentage.
FOURTH PLACE: Heading into the final matches of the regular season, Stan State is in fourth place with its twelve points. The Warriors are five points out of first which is held by Cal Poly Pomona. Right behind the Broncos is Cal State Los Angeles and Cal Poly Humboldt are tied for second each with thirteen points followed by the Warriors. There is a four-way tie for fifth place each eleven points between Cal State Monterey Bay, Cal State San Marcos, Cal State East Bay, and Cal State San Bernardino.
The top six teams at the end of the regular season on November 7 will receive a bid to the CCAA Soccer Championships, Nov. 10, 15-17. The first round will be held on November 10 at the sites of the number three and four seeds. The top two seeds receive a first-round bye. The semi-finals are set for November 15 in Arcata, Calif., on the campus of Cal Poly Humboldt. The championship match will take place on November 17 at 11:00 a.m. in Arcata, Calif.

Kaley Miller and Cabrera tied for second with their three assists. Cabrera is tenth with her nine points. Avila is fifth in the nation with her five game-winning goals.
SEAWOLVES IN REVIEW: Sonoma State enters this match Wednesday with a 5-5-4 record including a 3-3-1 CCAA record. The Seawolves are 1-3-1 in their last five matches including losing 1-0 to Cal State Monterey Bay and defeating SF State 2-1 this weekend at home. They are averaging 0.93 goals a game while giving up 1.29 goals a game. Ashley Frye leads the way with her three goals, seven points, and two game-winning goals. She has one assist while Luna Chavez has a team leading three assists. Ariana Beddoes leads the team with her 1.29 goals against average, .700 saves percentage, 42 saves, and four shutouts.

The Cougars are 1-2-2 in their last five matches including tying Cal State Dominguez Hills 1-1 and losing 1-0 at Cal State Los Angeles this weekend. They are averaging 1.13 goals a game while giving up 0.87 goals a game. Allison Marcure has a 0.90 goals against average with 29 saves, five shutouts, and a .690 saves percentage.

They are averaging 1.27 goals a game while giving up 1.00 goals a game. Mika Sayfurahman is leading the team with her six goals, two assists, and 14 points. Morgan Keller and Abigail Kern each have recording two of the Pioneer game-winning goals.
