TURLOCK, Calif.--- Stan State will continue its season beginning five-game road trip this Friday-Saturday, November 15-16 at the Ron Logsdon Basketball Challenge Presented by Cambria Hotel Sonoma Wine Country at The Wolves Den on the campus of Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park, Calif. The Warriors will face Western Oregon this Friday and Hawai'i Pacific on Saturday with tip-offs for both games set for 5:00 p.m.
1-1: The Warriors went 1-1 in their two games at the CCAA/PacWest Challenge in Hayward, Calif., this weekend. They began the Challenge with a 74-62 victory over Fresno Pacific on Friday.
Jason Zimmer led the Warriors with 16 points followed by
Jeremiah Jones' 15 points and
Daniel Ameyaw's 12 points. Stan State finished the season with a 68-61 loss to Point Loma on Saturday evening with Jones leading the Warriors with 14 points.
WARRIORS: After its first games of the regular season, Stan State is averaging 67.5 points per game while giving up 65.0 points per game. The Warriors are shooting 43% from the field while holding their opponents to just 41% including 33% from three-point land. They are being outrebounded 35.5 to 33.5. Stan State is forcing 14.0 turnovers per game and recording 7.0 steals per game.
Jeremiah Jones leads the Warriors with his 14.5 points per game while
Jason Zimmer is averaging 11.5 points per game. Zimmer leads the team with his 77.8% shooting from the field and 75% from three-point land. Jones has dished out a team high four assists and Walker has recorded a team leading five steals.

BOMBS AWAY: Jason Zimmer connected on six of his eight attempts from beyond the arc in the Warriors' two games in Hayward. He started the season going four-for-five from three-point land in Stan State's 74-62 win over Fresno Pacific. He came back to go two-for-three in the Warriors' 68-61 loss to Point Loma. The Stan State redshirt is shooting 77.8% from the field (seven-for-nine) and three-for-five in his attempts from the charity stripe.

Jeremiah Jones leads the Warriors with his 14.5 points per game average. Jones is shooting 51.9% from the field, connecting on 14 of his 27 attempts from the field. He is averaging 3.0 rebounds per game and has dished out four assists to go with his one steal. Jones started the season with 15 points in the Warrior victory over Fresno Pacific. Jones went seven-for-11 from the field and dished out one assist. Against Point Loma, Jones scored 14 points on seven-for-16 shooting from the field while grabbing five rebounds.
DEFENSE: Stan State is allowing its opponents to just 41% shooting from the field including just 33.3% from three-point land. The Warriors are forcing 28 turnovers including 14 by steals and scored 39 points off turnovers.
Cameron Walker leads the team with his five steals followed by

WESTERN OREGON: The Wolves are 1-3 after going 1-1 in their two games at the CCAA/GNAC Challenge in Ellensburg, Wash. They lost 88-68 to Cal State San Bernardino and defeated Cal State Monterey Bay 89-88. Western Oregon is averaging 75.3 points per game while giving up 88.8 points per game. The Wolves are being outrebounded 43.0 to 34.3 by their opponents. They are shooting 39.9% from the field while their opponents are shooting 47%. Jason Gallant leads the team with his 18.0 scoring average and ten assists. Second on the team is O'shen Cazimero with his 13.0 scoring average followed by Mario Williams Jr's 10.3 scoring average. Zach Moore is shooting a team high 50% from the field and a team best 62.5% from three-point land. Williams leads the team with his 90.9% shooting from the line. Anjay Cortez has recorded seven steals to lead WOU and Makalo Morphy has a team high six blocked shots.

HAWAI'I PACIFIC: The Sharks are 2-0 after defeating the two Alaska schools in Hawai'i this weekend. HPU defeated Alaska Anchorage 62-59 and Alaska 80-67. Hawai'i Pacific is averaging 71 points per game while giving up 63 points per game. The Sharks are outrebounding their opponents 37.5 to 34. They are shooting 44% from the field including 43.6% from the line. Their opponents are shooting 38% from the field and just 31% from three-point land. Four Sharks are averaging double figures in Sherman Breashear (16.0 ppg), Joshua West (13.5 ppg), Charlie Weber (12.0 ppg), and Pavle Kuzmanovic (10.0 ppg). Maj Dusanic leads the team with his 71.4% from the field. Webber and Kuzmanovic each are shooting a team high 46.2% from three-point land. Avi Halpert has dished out a team high seven assists and West has recorded a team leading four steals.
ALL-TIME SERIES: This is the second all-time meeting between the Warriors and the Sharks. HPU defeated Stan State 79-75 in 2006 in Laie, Hawai'i.
