RENO, Nev.--- Stan State's
Rionna Wallace broke the Warrior indoor record in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.81 this afternoon in the Final Day of the Silver State Invitational at the Reno Sparks Convention in Reno, Neva. Wallace broke Naomi Peterson's record of 7.82 that was set in 2018.

Troy Johnson. "They came up here with a competitive attitude and good things came from it…. looking forward to our return to competition after the Holidays."
With her time, Wallace placed 21
st in the 60-meter dash. In her performance yesterday, Wallace ran a 25.60 in the 200-meter dash to move into a tie for fourth on Stan State's top ten list. She also had a jump of 16-1 ½ (5.09) to move into a tie for ninth on the Warriors' top ten list in the long jump.
Mila Real ran a 9.54 in the 60-meter hurdles to move into eighth place on Stan State' top ten list. She finished in 29
th place. Yesterday, Real ran a 11
th place time of 58.57 in the 400-meter dash to move her into fourth on the Stan State Top Ten List.
Alexis Nino had a tenth place throw of 41-5 (12.62m) in the shot put with teammate
Sienna Hawkins placing 22
nd (32-1, 9.78m,). Nino is now sixth on the top ten list in the shot put.
Richiya Washington had a jump of 31-6 ¾ (9.62m) to finish in 19
th place in the triple jump
Stan State will return to competition in the New Year, January 17-18, when the Warriors travel to Seattle, Wash., to compete in two invitationals. The weekend will start with the UW Preview January 17 and will end with the Mile City Preview January 18. Both invitationals will take place at the Dempsey Indoor Center on the campus of the University of Washington.
Several NCAA Division I and NCAA Division II are competing in the Silver State Invitational including Stan State, Nevada, Oregon State, UC Davis, Fresno State, Cal State Fullerton, Boise State, Cal Poly Pomona, Sonoma State, Cal Poly Humboldt, Cal State San Marcos, Northwest Nazarene, Western Washington, and Jessup.
