NEW ORLEANS — Stan State collected nine All-Region honors for the 2026 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field season, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced Wednesday, recognizing the Warriors' strong showing across distance and field events in the West Region.

Annie Wild earned All-Region distinction after posting a season-best time of 11:38.87 at the Husky Classic. The mark ranked second in the West Region and stands as the second-fastest time in program history.
Annie Wild garnered three All-Region honors during the indoor season. The junior ranked No. 1 in the West Region in the mile with a time of 4:41.94 and No. 4 in the 800 meters at 2:09.90, in addition to her role on the All-Region Distance Medley Relay squad. Wild enters the national meet as the defending NCAA Division II Indoor champion in the mile.
Stevie Holguin earned All-Region recognition in the 5000 meters after running 17:03.40, the top time in the West Region this season. The freshman also recorded a top-10 regional mark in the 3000 meters, highlighting an impressive debut indoor campaign.
Alexis Nino secured All-Region honors in both throwing events. She ranked third in the West Region in the shot put with a school-record mark of 15.15 meters (49-8.5) and fourth in the weight throw at 17.03 meters (55-10.5), giving Stan State strong representation in the field events.
Stan State will be represented at the NCAA Division II Indoor Championships in Virginia Beach, March 13-14, by Hernandez, Nino, Real, Soto and Wild. Wild will compete in the mile prelims Friday at 1:05 p.m. (PST), with the finals set for Saturday at 1:50 p.m. (PST). The Distance Medley Relay is scheduled for Friday at 4:25 p.m. (PST), and Nino will compete in the shot put Saturday at 2:15 p.m. (PST).
