TURLOCK, Calif.--- With just four games left in the regular season, San State is just percentage points out of the sixth and final spot for the CCAA Softball Championships which will be held May 1-4 at Cal State San Marcos. The Warriors will end their regular season looking to secure a CCAA Softball Championship Tournament berth with a four-game series at Cal State East Bay (April 26-27).
THIS PAST WEEKEND: The Warriors went 1-4 in their five games this weekend. They were swept by Sonoma State at home and then defeated Cal State San Bernardino in San Bernardino on Sunday. Stan State hit .253 as a team and had a 5.49 earned run average. Four Warriors hit over .300 in
Sasha Martello (.368),
Lauryn Serda (.353), and
Shelby Frutoz (.333). Martello had seven and Serda had six hits.
Mikaela Ferreira scored five of the Warriors' 17 runs.
Victoria Alarcon went 1-2 with a 3.29 earned run average in the circle with 13 strikeouts and only five walks.

ALL-TIME SERIES: Stan State leads the all-time series with Cal State East Bay 34-30 since 2008. The Warriors have lost three of the four games last season in Turlock to East Bay. Stan State's victory was a 7-4 win with
