SEATTLE, Wash.--- For the second consecutive day, Stan State's
Annie Wild provisionally qualified for the 2025 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships in Seattle, Wash. This afternoon Wild ran time of 4:46.05 to shatter her school record time of 4:52.15 that she ran last year. Heading into today, Wild's time of 4:46.05 is the fastest time in the nation in NCAA Division II.

Wild's time of 4:46.05 was the 20
th fastest in the field and first in her heat in the Mile City Invite, which consisted of runners from Oregon State, Stanford, Northwestern, and Washington. The Warrior sophomore provisionally qualified for nationals yesterday with her time of 2:11.23 in the 800-meter run.
Stan State had nine runners competing in the Mile City Heats this morning in Seattle, Wash.
Crystal Hernandez finished 11
th in the field and 11
th in her heat with a time of 5:05.09, which is the tenth fastest time in school history. Running a 5:10.50 to finish in 28
th place in the field and eleventh in her heat was
Yahaira Zuniga. Finishing right behind Zuniga in 29
th place with her time of 5:10.74 was
Jacqueline Sanchez-Silva.
Tessa Vasquez was the next Warrior with her 34
th place time of 5:11.87. The next five Stan State runners were

Among the other teams competing in the Mile City Heats were Saint Martin's, Seattle Pacific, Alaska Anchorage, Western Washington, Simon Fraser, Western Oregon, and Portland State.
Stan State will return to competition on Friday, January 24 in Reno, Nev., when the Warriors compete in the Nevada Invite at the Reno Sparks Convention Center.
