TURLOCK, Calif.--- Stan State's
Shaelyn Pruiett was named to the 2025 CCAA Volleyball All-Tournament Team, announced this past Saturday night following the conference championship match.
Pruiett, the Warriors' senior setter from Gunter, Texas, totaled 27 assists, 21 digs, and three kills in Stan State's five-set CCAA quarterfinal battle with San Francisco State on Nov. 20 at Fitzpatrick Arena — her ninth double-double of the season.
She capped her 2025 campaign with 519 assists (5.52 per set), 232 digs (2.47 per set), 32 kills, and 23 aces while hitting .221 on the year. Pruiett appeared in 94 sets and was one of only three Warriors to play in every match this season.
Stan State finished the year with a 13-13 overall record and placed fourth in the CCAA standings at 11-7. It marked the Warriors' second consecutive season with double-digit wins in conference play — just the second time in program history they've accomplished that feat, also doing so in 2015 and 2016. The Warriors made their third CCAA Tournament appearance in the last four seasons and their second straight trip to postseason play.
Cal State San Bernardino won the 2025 CCAA Tournament, defeating San Francisco State in five sets on Saturday night. The full All-Tournament Team included Kacie Pedersen (CSUSB, MVP), Jayden Chornomud (CSUSB), Savannah Hoffmann (CSUSB), M'Kera Drake (CSUSB), Makenna Edwards (CSUSB), Tamiya Wilson (SFSU), Aidan Goodrich (SFSU), Grace Witcher (SFSU), Melanie Hewlett (SFSU), Pi'ilani Carvalho (CSUEB), Barakat Adekola (CSUEB), and
Shaelyn Pruiett (Stan State).
