TURLOCK, Calif.--- For the second consecutive year, Stanislaus State's
Aliah Avila has been named to the D2CCA All-West Region First Team, as selected by the region's sports information directors.
Avila was one of just four midfielders honored on the All-Region First Team and one of five players representing the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) among the 13 selections.
The junior from Madera, Calif., continued to anchor the Warriors' midfield in 2025, leading the team with seven assists and finishing second in both goals (5) and points (17). She also scored a team-high four game-winning goals and converted all three of her penalty-kick attempts.
Avila helped guide the Warriors to an 11-5-4 overall record, including a 6-3-2 mark in CCAA play, as Stanislaus State advanced to the CCAA Tournament semifinals. It marked the Warriors' sixth straight postseason appearance and their third trip to the semifinals in the past four seasons.
The Two-Time D2CCA All-West Region honoree was also named to the 2025 All-CCAA First Team and the CCAA All-Tournament Team. Last season, she earned D2CCA All-America honors, was selected to the D2CCA and United Soccer Coaches All-Region Teams, and was voted the 2024 CCAA Midfielder of the Year.
