RENO, Nev. — Stan State opened its indoor season with a strong all-around performance at the Silver State Invitational, led by
Alexis Nino's record-setting weekend. Nino broke the school record in the shot put and earned an NCAA Division II provisional qualifying mark with her throw of 45-7 (13.89m), adding to her earlier success in the weight throw at 53-8 ½ (16.37m). The sprint and jump squads also produced standout marks, highlighted by
Mila Real's 25.40 in the 200-meter dash, which elevated her to No. 2 on the all-time list, and
Reyna Dismukes improving her No. 3 all-time long jump mark with a career-best 18-5 (5.61m) while also moving to No. 8 all-time in the 60-meter dash after running 8.12.
Ahlia Albergottie added a strong debut to the season as well, clocking 27.33 in the 200-meter dash to contribute to a balanced and encouraging start for Stan State across all event groups.

FRIDAY RESULTS
Stan State opened the Silver State Invitational with strong performances across the board on Friday. In the sprints,
Mila Real highlighted the day with a 25.40 in the 200-meter dash, a mark that ranks No. 2 all-time at Stan State.
Reyna Dismukes added a career-best 18-5 (5.61m) in the long jump to strengthen her position at No. 3 all-time, later running 26.49 in the 200. Additional 200-meter results included
Ahlia Albergottie at 27.33 and
Richiya Washington at 29.72, with Washington also posting 14-6 ½ (4.43m) in the long jump. In the weight throw,
Alexis Nino led the Warriors with a toss of 53-8 ½ (16.37m), followed by
Grace Langenfield at 40-4 (12.29m),
Sienna Hawkins at 38-6 ¾ (11.75m), and
Donielle Willis at 36-10 ½ (11.24m).

Ahlia Albergottie opened in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.56, while
Reyna Dismukes ran 8.12 in the 60-meter dash. Additional sprint results included
Eliana Tamayo at 8.66 and
Richiya Washington at 8.84.
Donielle Willis added to the throws crew's efforts with a mark of 35-0 ¼ (10.67m) in the shot put.
WARRIORS IN THE RECORD BOOK
Warriors improved their standing on Stan State's all-time top-10 lists during the weekend.
Alexis Nino added her name to the record book by breaking the school record in the shot put and recording an NCAA Division II provisional qualifying mark.
Reyna Dismukes moved to No. 8 all-time in the 60-meter dash with her 8.12 performance, while
Ahlia Albergottie entered the list at No. 9 in the 60-meter hurdles after running 9.56.
Mila Real remained one of the meet's top performers, moving to No. 2 all-time in the 200-meter dash with her 25.40, and Dismukes strengthened her hold on No. 3 in the long jump with her career-best 18-5 (5.61m).
COMPETITIVE FIELD: The Silver State Invitational featured a competitive field that brought together programs from across the West. Teams in attendance included Nevada, Cal State Fullerton, Cal Poly Humboldt, Western Oregon, Sacramento State, Pacific, Northern Colorado, Grand Canyon, Cal State Bakersfield, Saint Mary's (Calif.), Azusa Pacific, Cal Poly Pomona, UC Santa Barbara, Jessup, and UC Davis, among others, providing the Warriors with strong early-season competition.
UP NEXT: Stan State returns to competition in the new year on Jan. 16–17, when they head back to the Reno-Sparks Convention Center to participate in the Nevada Invitational. This meet will be one of five remaining indoor opportunities for the Warriors as they work to qualify for the 2025–26 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships, set for March 12–14 at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, Va.
