INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.--- With her time of 4:40.62 in the finals of the mile at the 2025 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships,
Annie Wild became Stan State's first ever Indoor Track & Field National Champion. Wild is the 24
th All-American in Stan State Indoor Track & Field history.

The sophomore distance runner ran a 4:40.62 today to capture the mile. Two weeks ago, at the 2025 Last Chance Indoor National Qualifier at Boston University, Wild ran a school record time of 4:39.92 to earn the number one seed in this year's National Championship field.

With her ten points for capturing the women's mile today, Wild earned ten points for the Warriors as they finished tied for 19
th place with Cal State San Marcos in the teams' points. Pittsburg State captured the team title with 63 points.
Wild and her Warrior men's and women's track and field teammates will return to the outdoor season in Clovis, Calif., when they participate in the West Coast Relays at the Veterans Memorial Stadium which will be hosted by Fresno State University. The West Coast Relays are set for a 10:00 a.m. start on Saturday, March 29.
Stan State will host the 2025 CCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, May 1-3, 2025, at the Al Brenda Track at Warrior Stadium on the campus of Stanislaus State University in Turlock, Calif.
