Annie Wild was named a 2025 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Women's USTFCCCA First Team All-American as announced this afternoon by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Wild was the National Champion in the mile this past Saturday at the 2025 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships in Indianapolis, Ind.
Athletes of member institutions who finished in the top eight of their respective individual events and relays at the 2025 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships this past weekend in Indianapolis, Indiana, took home First Team All-America honors. Those who. Placed ninth through 12
th individually or on a relay team that finished ninth or tenth were named Second Team All-America.
Wild ran a 4:40.62 in the finals at the NCAAs to capture the mile. She became the Warriors' first ever All-American in Indoor Track & Field. The sophomore distance runner is the 24
th All-American in the history of the Stan State Women's Indoor Track & Field program.
The Warriors will return to their outdoor season Saturday, March 29 at 10:00 a.m., when they participate in the West Coast Relays at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Fresno, Calif. Stan State will host the 2025 CCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, May 1-3, at the Al Brenda Track at Warrior Stadium.
