TURLOCK, Calif.--- Stan State travels to Hayward, Calif. to take on Cal State East Bay, ranked 14th in the most recent National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) poll, this week for a pair of doubleheaders. On Friday, March 28
th, the first game of the doubleheader is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. On Saturday, March 29
th, the game begins at 11:00 a.m.

LAST WEEK: Cal State Dominguez Hills got the best of Stan State in the most recent series. On Friday, March 21
st, the Toros took the first game 4-0 and won the second game 3-0.
McKenna Beach earned the Warriors' lone hit in the first game with a double, while
Karli DalBianco and
Madison Rosebrough both went two-for-three in the second game.

In the two games on Saturday, March 22
nd, Cal State Dominguez Hills kept the Warriors at bay 7-3 in the first game and closed out the series with a five-inning game 8-0.
Malia Babasa went four-for-four and scored a run in game one, while the quartet of

Shelby Frutoz, and
Moxie Barton earned the Warriors' hits in game two.

ON THE BASES: Malia Babasa is closing in on the single season record for on-base percentage. Babasa currently holds a .415 on base percentage, needed .42 more points to reach the top 10. Her 15-game reached base streak was the longest on the team as she looks to reignite it during the next series with Cal State East Bay.

Five players are batting over .300 in Ashlee Toy (.355), Annelise Garcia (.337), Gabriela Rivera (.320), Marissa Farias (.314), and Alexa Zumstein (.310). Toy has the most hits with 33.
