Warriors will return to Reno for the Third and Final Time this Indoor Season This Friday-Saturday

Indoor Track & Field Aims to Build on Indoor Success in Reno

TURLOCK, Calif.--- The Stanislaus State women's indoor track and field team will continue its 2025–26 indoor season Friday–Saturday, February 6–7, at the Wolf Pack Classic, hosted at the Reno–Tahoe Indoor Track in Reno, Nev. Under the direction of head coach Troy Johnson, the Warriors will send 17 student-athletes to compete across sprints, middle distance, distance, hurdles, relays, and field events as the indoor season enters its final stretch before postseason qualification.

Competition begins Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. with field events and concludes Saturday afternoon before the Warriors return to Turlock.

Friday's Events – February 6
The Warriors will open the meet at 10:00 a.m. with two field events. In the weight throw, Stan State will be represented by Alexis Nino, Sienna Hawkins, Donielle Willis, and Grace Lagenfield. At the same time, Reyna Dismukes and Richiya Washington will compete in the long jump.

On the track, Friday's competition begins with the mile at noon, featuring Crystal Hernandez, Izzy Soto, Stevie Holguin, Bela Moreno, Roseli Diaz, Aubry Webb, and Valorie Jimenez. The Warriors will then run the 800 meters at 2:05 p.m. with Annie Wild, Hernandez, Moreno, Diaz, Jimenez, and Megan Silva. At 2:50 p.m., Webb will compete in the 3,000 meters, before sprint action closes the day with the 200 meters at 3:40 p.m., featuring Ahlia Albergottie and Mila Real.

Saturday's Events – February 7
Saturday's action begins at 10:00 a.m. with the shot put, where Alexis Nino and Donielle Willis will represent the Warriors. On the track, Albergottie and Real will open the day in the 60-meter hurdles at 10:00 a.m., followed by the 60 meters at 10:45 a.m. with Dismukes and Washington.

Stan State will also compete in the distance medley relay at 1:15 p.m., with Crystal Hernandez, Mila Real, Izzy Soto, and Annie Wild, with Stevie Holguin listed as an alternate.

Meet Notes / Among Teams Competing
The Wolf Pack Classic traditionally provides strong regional and national competition, serving as one of the final regular-season opportunities for athletes to chase NCAA Division II qualifying marks. Programs scheduled to compete in Reno include host Nevada, Stan State, Fresno State, San Diego State, Simon Fraser, Alaska Anchorage, Western Oregon, and other teams from across the West.

NCAA Division II Provisional Qualifiers
Stan State enters the Wolf Pack Classic with three athletes holding NCAA Division II Indoor provisional qualifying marks. Annie Wild currently ranks fourth nationally in the mile after running 4:41.94, while Alexis Nino sits 18th in the shot put with a mark of 14.20 meters (46-7.25). Mila Real also holds a provisional standard, ranking 25th nationally in the 400 meters with a time of 55.88. The NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships are scheduled for March 12–14 at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, Va., with the championship field set to be announced March 3, 2026, on ncaa.com.

Warriors in the Indoor Track and Field Record Books
Several Warriors currently hold top marks in the Stan State indoor track and field record books. Mila Real ranks second all-time in the 200 meters with a time of 25.18 and holds the school record in the 400 meters at 55.88, while also sitting second in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.26. Ahlia Albergottie is ninth all-time in the 60-meter hurdles after running 9.53. Izzy Soto holds multiple record-book marks, ranking second all-time in the 800 meters at 2:14.48 and sixth in the mile with a time of 4:57.12. Reyna Dismukes ranks second all-time in the triple jump at 11.04 meters (36-2.25) and third in the long jump with a mark of 5.61 meters (18-5). Alexis Nino leads the program as the school record holder in the shot put with a throw of 14.20 meters (46-7.25) and also ranks fourth all-time in the weight throw at 17.03 meters (55-10.50).

Up Next
Following the Wolf Pack Classic, Stan State will close out the regular-season indoor schedule at the Husky Classic, February 13–14, at the Dempsey Indoor Center in Seattle, Wash. The Warriors will then turn their attention to the NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships, scheduled for March 12–14 at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, Va.

Outdoor Track & Field Schedule
The Warriors will open the outdoor track and field season February 21 at the Sunbird Invitational in Fresno, Calif., before returning home March 6–7 to host the Kim Duyst Invitational at Al Brenda Track at Warrior Stadium. Stan State will then compete at the Mark Conover Classic on March 21 in San Luis Obispo, followed by the West Coast Relays March 27–28 in Clovis. Early April competition includes appearances at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational in Berkeley, the Mike Fanelli Track Classic in San Francisco, and the Stanford Invitational. The postseason begins with the CCAA Track and Field Championships, scheduled for April 30–May 2 in San Marcos, Calif., before the season concludes at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships, May 21–23, in Emporia, Kansas.
