TURLOCK, Calif. — Stan State track & field honored its senior class Saturday at the Kim Duyst Invitational at the Al Brenda Track at Warrior Stadium, delivering strong performances across sprints, distance, relays, and throws in front of the home crowd.
The Warriors celebrated Reyna Dismukes, Crystal Hernandez, Justice McDermott, Timothy Miles, Bela Moreno, Mason Phillips, Christopher Ruiz, and Julian Sanchez for their dedication and impact on the program. The group has contributed across multiple event areas, earning All-CCAA honors, national appearances, and all-time marks while helping elevate the Warriors' success on the track and in the classroom.
Senior Spotlight
Several seniors delivered standout performances on their special day.
Dismukes led the way in the horizontal jumps, posting a mark of 18-5¼ (5.62m) in the long jump and 37-5¾ (11.42m) in the triple jump. Hernandez turned in strong efforts in the distance events, running 4:40.17 in the 1500 meters and 2:17.46 in the 800 meters.
McDermott showcased his versatility once again, highlighted by a 152-9 (46.56m) throw in the javelin, along with efforts in the hurdles, jumps, and throws. Miles delivered a solid performance in the 110-meter hurdles (15.63) and 400-meter hurdles (56.8), continuing his leadership in the sprint group.
Phillips paced the throws with a 49-5 (15.06m) mark in the shot put, while Ruiz recorded a 140-1 (42.71m) throw in the javelin. Sanchez added depth to the sprint group with a 11.49 performance in the 100 meters and 23.32 in the 200 meters.

Throws Open Kim Duyst Invitational
Stan State opened the Kim Duyst Invitational Friday with a full slate of throws, highlighted by strong marks across both the men's and women's groups.
Alexis Nino led the Warriors in the hammer throw with a mark of 171-4 (52.24m), while Donielle Willis added a throw of 141-5 (43.11m) and Sienna Hawkins recorded 135-2 (41.20m). On the men's side, Luke Giannotta paced the group with a 167-4 (51.01m) mark in the hammer, followed by Logan Edwards (159-6 / 48.62m) and Mason Phillips (156-9 / 47.78m).
In the discus, Phillips turned in one of the top performances of the day with a 151-0 (46.02m) throw, while Giannotta (131-8 / 40.14m) and Edwards (124-0 / 37.80m) added strong marks. Justice McDermott recorded a 102-0 (31.09m) effort in the discus, and Sienna Hawkins led the women with a 108-1 (33.18m) throw.

Warriors Deliver Strong Performances on Senior Day
Stan State turned in a strong all-around performance Saturday as the Warriors celebrated Senior Day at Warrior Stadium, highlighted by multiple all-time marks, relay success, and standout performances across event groups.
Andrew Bishop delivered one of the top sprint performances of the meet, clocking 10.62 in the 100 meters, moving into fourth in Stan State history, and adding a 21.42 in the 200 meters, which ranks seventh all-time in program history. The 4x100 relay team of Mendoza, Siebert, Sawyer, and Bishop followed with a time of 40.86, moving into fourth in Stan State history.
In the field events, Ivan Mendoza delivered one of the top performances of the day, jumping 23-6¼ (7.17m) in the long jump to move into fifth in program history. Eligah Lawrence added strong marks in the horizontal jumps with 20-4½ (6.21m) in the long jump and 43-5¾ (13.25m) in the triple jump.
On the women's side, Ahlia Albergottie moved into the record book with a 1:04.22 performance in the 400-meter hurdles, ranking 10th in Stan State history. Reyna Dismukes led the horizontal jumps with marks of 18-5¼ (5.62m) in the long jump and 37-5¾ (11.42m) in the triple jump.
In the distance events, Izzy Soto ran 4:36.13 in the 1500 meters and 2:13.95 in the 800 meters, while Megan Silva posted 4:38.77 (1500m) and 2:13.44 (800m). Austin Hein paced the men's distance group with times of 4:02.71 in the 1500 meters and 2:00.35 in the 800 meters, with Evan Silva adding 4:06.90 (1500m) and 2:00.97 (800m).
