NDIANAPOLIS, Ind.--- Stan State softball is receiving consideration in the latest NCAA Division II West Region poll, as released this week.
The Warriors are listed among a group of programs vying for position in the regional rankings, joining Biola, Cal State Dominguez Hills, Cal State East Bay, Cal State Monterey Bay, Cal State San Marcos, Concordia Irvine (CUI), Hawai'i Hilo, Northwest Nazarene, and Western Washington.
Stan State enters the week at 19-19 overall (18-19 in the adjusted regional record), continuing to battle in a competitive CCAA landscape. The Warriors remain in contention for a spot in the official regional rankings as they look to build momentum down the stretch.
Cal State San Marcos headlines the group with a 42-5 mark, while Cal State East Bay (34-10) and CUI (37-13) are also among the top-performing teams in the region.
The NCAA West Region rankings will continue to evolve over the final weeks of the regular season, with postseason bids on the line for the top teams. The NCAA Division II Softball Championship selections will be announced May 11 on NCAA.com.
The 2026 CCAA Softball Championships are scheduled for May 6–9 at Pioneer Softball Field in Hayward, Calif., beginning with the first round on May 6, followed by the quarterfinals (May 7), semifinals (May 8), and championship game (May 9). The top five teams in the CCAA standings at the end of the regular season will qualify for the conference tournament, with the winner receiving the league's automatic berth to the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.
The NCAA Division II postseason begins with West Regionals (May 14–16), followed by Super Regionals (May 21–22). The NCAA Division II College World Series will take place May 28–June 3 at Frost Stadium at Warner Park in Chattanooga, Tenn.

The Warriors head to Carson, Calif., April 24–25 for a four-game CCAA series against Cal State Dominguez Hills. Stan State will then wrap up the regular season at home, hosting Cal Poly Humboldt in a four-game conference series May 1–2 at Warrior Softball Field. The series finale on May 2 will serve as Senior Day, honoring Malia Babasa, McKenna Beach and Emily Bigley.
