TURLOCK, Calif. — Stan State track & field competed across three meets Friday, highlighted by all-time performances from Ahlia Albergottie, Alexis Nino and Bela Moreno, along with a strong showing from the distance group at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic.
Stanford Invitational
Stan State's top performances of the day came at the Stanford Invitational, where multiple athletes delivered standout efforts in both track and field events.
Ahlia Albergottie continued her strong season in the hurdles, clocking a 1:03.71 in the 400-meter hurdles to move into No. 9 all-time in Stan State history, improving her position in the program record book.
In the throws, Alexis Nino highlighted the meet with a 180-7 (55.04m) mark in the hammer throw, improving her season-best and maintaining her position at No. 6 all-time in program history. This mark put her 10th in the Nation, and helped cement her as a Provisional Qualifier. She also recorded a 46-10.25 (14.28m) in the shot put to lead the Warriors.
On the men's side, Logan Edwards (171-3 / 52.20m), Luke Giannotta (162-1 / 49.42m), and Mason Phillips (161-11 / 49.35m) turned in strong performances in the hammer throw. In the jumps, Ivan Mendoza posted a 22-7.75 (6.90m) in the long jump, while Reyna Dismukes recorded 17-10.75 (5.45m) on the women's side.
Jaevin Sawyer added a 10.78 performance in the 100 meters to round out the Warriors' efforts on the track.
Mike Fanelli Track Classic
The distance group delivered a strong showing in San Francisco, highlighted by depth across multiple events.
Bela Moreno led the way in the steeplechase, running 11:12.81 to improve her mark while remaining No. 10 all-time in Stan State history.
In the 1500 meters, Izzy Soto (4:36.63), Megan Silva (4:37.71), and Crystal Hernandez (4:38.02) paced the women's group, with additional contributions from Bianca Scott (4:51.58), Roseli Diaz (4:56.59), and Aubrey Lascano (5:00.68).
On the men's side, Austin Hein led with a 4:02.77, followed by Evan Silva (4:09.23) and Julian Hernandez (4:14.41).
In the 5000 meters, Guardave Pandher (15:19.71) and Patricio Kearney (15:20.21) turned in strong performances, while Stevie Holguin (17:35.60) and Aubrey Webb (18:22.15) led the women's efforts.
Brutus Hamilton Multi-Events
Stan State was represented in the decathlon by Justice McDermott, who recorded 5763 points over the two-day competition. McDermott highlighted his performance with a win in the 1500 meters (4:33.62) and a fifth-place finish in the 400 meters (50.42).

At the Mike Fanelli Track Classic, the Warriors will be active in the 800 meters, led by Crystal Hernandez, Megan Silva, Izzy Soto, and Austin Hein.
At the Brutus Hamilton Invitational, Stan State will compete across sprints, hurdles, jumps, and throws, highlighted by appearances from Andrew Bishop, Ahlia Albergottie, Eric Green, and Ivan Mendoza on the track, along with a full throws lineup led by Alexis Nino and Mason Phillips.
The Warriors will also look for strong performances in the horizontal jumps and field events as the team continues to build momentum heading deeper into the outdoor season.
