TURLOCK, Calif.--- After capturing the individual title at the Kim Duyst Twilight, Stan State sophomore Stevie Holguin has earned her second consecutive FloCollege/CCAA Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week honor, the conference announced Monday afternoon.

The Seal Beach native won the women's 6K at the Kim Duyst Twilight with a time of 20:41.4, finishing 3.5 seconds ahead of UC Santa Barbara's Jordin Lieberman. Holguin's victory helped lead the No. 12 nationally ranked Warriors to the team championship with 22 points.

Stan State placed four runners among the top five and all five scorers among the top nine to capture its second consecutive Kim Duyst Twilight team title. The Warriors finished 11 points ahead of NCAA Division I UC Santa Barbara and recorded a scoring-five average of 21:04.2.

Holguin's award follows her sixth-place finish at the season-opening University of San Francisco Invitational, where she led Stan State with a time of 21:00.2. She was the top non-Division I finisher in the race and helped the Warriors place second as a team.

With her back-to-back honors, Holguin becomes the third CCAA women's runner in the last five years to earn consecutive Runner of the Week awards. She joins Cal State San Bernardino's Alexis Wallace, who accomplished the feat in 2022, and Cal Poly Pomona's Vivian Martinez, who earned consecutive honors in 2025.

Holguin has led the Warriors in both races this season. She is the first Stan State runner to win the conference's weekly honor twice in the same season since Kaela Dishion earned three awards in 2022.

The Warriors opened the season ranked No. 12 nationally in the USTFCCCA NCAA Division II Women's Cross Country Coaches Poll and No. 2 in the USTFCCCA West Region preseason rankings. The next edition of the West Region rankings is scheduled to be released Tuesday, followed by the next national rankings on Wednesday.

Stan State will return to competition at the Bronco Invite on Saturday, Oct. 17. The meet is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m.
