TURLOCK, Calif.---Stan State's Aliah Avila was named the FloCollege/CCAA Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.

Avila appeared in both of Stan State's CCAA matches over the weekend and scored the game-winning goal in Friday's 2-1 victory over No. 14 Cal State Los Angeles. Her unassisted goal came in the 69th minute and gave the Warriors a 2-0 lead.

The goal was Avila's third of the season and 20th of her career. It was also the 13th game-winning goal of her career, moving her into sole possession of second place in Stan State history.

Stan State split its two CCAA road matches over the weekend, defeating Cal State LA before falling 1-0 at Cal State San Marcos on Sunday.

Avila currently ranks fourth in the CCAA with two game-winning goals, sixth with three goals and eight points, and ninth with two assists. She also ranks fifth in the Stan State career record book with 20 goals, 19 assists and 60 points, while her 13 career game-winning goals rank second all-time.

This marks Avila's second career FloCollege/CCAA Offensive Player of the Week honor. She previously received the award during the 2024 season.

Stan State is ranked eighth in this week's United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division II West Region rankings.
