Eli Davis.
After CSUSB responded with three runs in the second, the Warriors chased Lee in the second after Manci's double that scored Wright for a 5-3 lead. Manci later scored on a single by
Colton Beatty.
Stanislaus would tag on two more runs in the third with a two-run single up the middle by Manci to score Yingling, who had walked, and Wright, who had reached with his second hit.
Finally, the Warriors put up a five-spot in the fifth inning as they sent 11 batters to the plate. Yingling started the inning with a solo homer to deep left field. Two walks later, Manci delievered again, this time with a two-run double off the center field wall. After Manci scored on a Long single to left, CSUS worked the bases loaded again. Yingling would pick up his second RBI of the inning in his second at-bat when he was plunked by Jeff Terzo's attempt at an inside curve ball.
While the Warriors offense got quiet after the fifth (they went 1-for-11 to end the game), CSUSB pushed across three runs in the sixth, which included a solo shot by Matt Haney and two unearned runs.
In the ninth, the Coyotes started another rally and eventually loaded the bases. Ethan Chapman cleared the bases with a triple off the right field fence to make it 13-9. Two walks later, the bags were full of Coyotes again, bringing the game's tying run, Darren Dworak, to the plate.
