A two-run double in the fourth inning off the bat of Jordan Flora did keyed a rally. With runners at second and thid and just one out, however, CSUMB got out of another jam.

In the end, Mendez had two of the team's five hits in game two and Burns again doubled to right-center, which drove in a run in the third.
