Box Score TURLOCK — The Cal State San Bernardino Coyotes scored five unanswered runs to over-take the Warriors as they won the first game of the California Collegiate Athletic Association opener, 7-3, Friday night.
Skippy Ferreria stays hot with a 3-for-4 night and
Marcus Mastrobuoni went 2-for-4 and drove in two scores to lead the Warriors (6-13, 2-10 CCAA).
Colton Beatty also had two of the Warriors' nine hits.
Ryan McDaniel, who has been strong out of the bullpen, got the start on Friday but picked up the loss as he gave up five runs on eight hits in six innings.
Ferreria extended his hitting streak to nine games and he's gone 16 for 37 during that stretch.
CSUSB starter Kerry Kelly pitched the complete game win. He struck out 11 batters and walked none.
Four different Coyotes (7-15, 5-8 CCAA) each had two hits.
