Warriors are back at home to host San Francisco State

This weekend the Warriors will host San Francisco State in a four-game series with doubleheaders on Friday and Saturday.

Series Notes: In the past 10 years the Warriors have faced San Francisco State 46 times taking home 19 wins, two of which they earned in the 2016 season.
 
Last Season: Last season the Warriors split with the Gators at San Francisco State, winning the first and last games of the series. Stan State won 4-0 and 3-2, and lost 1-4 and 1-2. 
 
Defeating Ranked Opponents:  Since their last home weekend, the Warriors have added two significant wins to their record. At home on Mar. 4, Stan State defeated No. 1 Humboldt State 6-2 ... Last weekend the Warriors took down No. 6 Chico State 3-2 at Chico ... Stan State will face another ranked team next Tuesday and Wednesday when they host Cal State Monterey Bay who is currently ranked No. 21.
 
Busy Schedule: Over the next 17 days Stan State is will face 11 opponents in 21 games. The Warriors are scheduled to play two CCAA series next week, followed by three week day games and the Tournament of Champions the week after.
