The Warriors will play Western Washington in a non-conference doubleheader on Tuesday, and Central Washington in a single game on Wednesday. Friday through Sunday Stan State will play six teams in the annual Tournament of Champions.

McDonald's Comeback: Last Saturday
Katelyn McDonald made her first appearance on the field since March 11th. Out for six games due to an injury, McDonald made quite an impressive comeback. On her second at-bat of the day, she hit a home run with the bases loaded, hitting the Warriors first grand slam of the season. Â

Martinez Fun Facts: Alexus Martinez is currently on an eight-game hitting streak, the highest on her team ... So far this season she has tallied two or more hits in a game 14 times ... Martinez leads the CCAA in hits in conference games with a total of 32 hits.Â

Tournament of Champions: This weekend the Warriors are hosting the annual Tournament of Champions. Over the span of three days 26 teams will play 77 games at three locations in the largest Division 2Â softball tournament on the west coast. Â
About Western Washington: The Warriors are 14-6 against the Vikings since the first time they played Western Washington in 2001. Last season Stan State hosted Western Washington in a non-conference doubleheader the week before the TOC just as they are this season. The Vikings won the first game 4-2, and the Warriors were victorious in the nightcap 4-3 … Emily Benson leads the Vikings with a .509 batting average.
