MARYSVILLE, Calif. – The Warriors crew left for the two-day Chico State Wildcat Classic at Peach Tree Golf & Country Club and came back with a 7th place team finish. Redshirt Junior Chris Ebster had himself a day, placing 2nd overall and hitting under par in all three rounds.

Stan State finished just behind CCAA rivals Cal State San Bernardino and Cal State San Marcos, who had a three-way tie for fourth place with Holy Names. Ebster started the first round of day one going 7-under 72, following that performance in round two at 6-under. He would end day one of competition sitting pretty in 3rd place, followed by his counterpart Sophomore transfer Nate Jetton at 15th. Ebster finished day three under par by just one stroke to tie for 2nd place, while Jetton finished 2-over 72 in round three to finish tied for 22nd

Freshman Chris Chomyn was right behind Jetton in the final round, tying for 26th place overall. He finished his day strong at 3-under 72 in round three. Freshman Camdan Indelicato and Sophomore Armaan Sahota each ended the day at 48th and 54th, going 8-over and 13-over in three rounds. Sahota saw improvement during his third round performance at 2-under 72. Freshmen Jarred Hernandez would also tie for 54th with Sahota, while Bradley Olson would round out the Warriors squad placing 62nd.

The team heads to the Otter Invitational on Monday, Oct. 17th at Monterey Bay before their long trip to Hawaii in late October.
