NEW ORLEANS, La.--- For the fourth straight week, Stan State women's cross country team is eighth in the United States Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA)/NCAA Division II Women's Cross Country National Coaches' Poll. The Warriors, under the guidance of head coach
Darren Holman, first in the West Region Poll for the fourth straight week.
Stan State is coming off an eighth-place finish at the Bronco Invitational on October 15 in Sunnyvale, Calif.
Kaela Dishion paced the Warriors with her sixth-place finish. Dishion ran a career best time of 20:00.1. For the third time this season and fourth time in her career, Dishion was named the CCAA Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week.
Also figuring into the Warriors' eighth place finish at the Bronco Invitational were

Stan State is now preparing for the 2022 CCAA Cross Country Championships which will take place on November 5 in Carmel, Calif. The Warriors are looking to repeat as champions and Dishion is looking to repeat as the individual champion.
Two weeks after conference, Stan State will travel to Billings, Mont., to compete in the NCAA Division II West Regional Championships. The Warriors will look to qualify for the NCAA Division II National Championships, which are set for December 3 in Seattle, Wash.
