WAIKOLOA, Hawaii – After riding the wave of some solid performances early in the week at the HPU Shark Shootout, Stan State finished up their Hawaii trip at the two-day Dennis Rose Invitational hosted by Hawaii Hilo. With a team finish that tied for third place on the leaderboards, Nate Jetton took home the trophy after going 3-under in the final round of competition.

After opening up round one with a -2 shooting day, Jetton sat in 3rd place with Chris Chomyn just eight spots below in 11th after an even score of 70 through 18 holes. Jarred Hernandez also cracked the top 20 leaderboards at 16th with a 1-over score of his own.

Day two saw a mixed bag of Warriors performances, however Armaan Sahota was able to jump five spots up the standings after improving from +6 to +4 in two days of play. Chris Ebster also climbed 12 spots up ranks, going from +9 to +2. Jetton's 135 final score propelled him two spots to 1st place to secure the victory. This win marks Stanislaus State's second individual win of the fall season.

"Nate played incredible both rounds and was able to secure his first collegiate win," says Warriors' Head Coach Brandon Christianson. "His clutch putting was his key to victory today. As a team we got off to a rough start today, but we were able to battle back to third."

This tourney will conclude the team's fall slate of matches and an updated schedule for the season will be provided as dates and times are finalized.
